Bella Vista — Singing in the rain. Betty Millington of Washougal was impressed with the tenacity and great attitudes of a group of children ages 3 to 11. After a weeklong vacation Bible school at Real Life Community Church, the children presented a final program for parents and friends — outdoors. Despite the rain, the children kept singing. The harder it rained, the louder they sang, Millington said. The group sang for 30 minutes without running for cover. Millington said they learned and proved that no matter what the circumstances, the joy that is inside far outweighs the storms they face.
