A free 12-week class for property owners, co-sponsored by Washington State University Clark County Extension and Clark County’s Environmental Services department, will cover better land management.

“Living on the Land — Stewardship for Small Acreages” will include a basic overview of soil, water, and plant and animal interactions. Participants can learn ways to tend their own land more efficiently and effectively.

The class will meet Tuesdays from Sept. 6 to Nov. 22, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the 78th Street Heritage Farm, 1919 N.E. 78th St. in Vancouver.

Space is limited; sign up with Matt Vesh by Sept. 1 at 360-397-6060, ext. 5729.
