LEAVENWORTH, Wash. (AP) — Divers recovered the body of an 18-year-old Burien man who was swept away in white water while swimming with friends Saturday in the Wenatchee River near Leavenworth.

The Chelan County sheriff’s office says the body of Kanwal Singh was found Sunday stuck in rocks about 15 feet below the surface.

The Wenatchee World reports (http://bit.ly/os9xWZ) he was not wearing a life jacket.
