Girls basketball: Woodland 44, Ridgefield 19

Sidra Malik scored 13 of her 17 points in the second half, helping the Beavers pull away for a non-league victory.

Woodland led 10-5 after the first quarter before outscoring the Spudders 24-6 over the middle two frames.

Taylor McCullough and Emily Smith finished with eight points apiece for Woodland.

Ridgefield was led by Jessica Shaffer with six points.
