SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Police in Salem have arrested a man on manslaughter charges in a fatal hit-and-run last week.
KPTV in Portland reports that 19-year-old Jake Montano was arrested late Tuesday.
Montano has been named as a suspect in the Jan. 26 death of 37-year-old Morales Singer, who was struck and killed while walking home from a tavern in Salem.
Detectives identified a car belonging to Montano from debris at the crash scene.
