2008 Primary Date: A Wednesday front-page story misstated the month Washington’s 2008 presidential primary was held. In fact, it was held in early February, and drew major candidates to the state, including Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain. The story also misstated the date of a Senate Ways and Means Committee hearing on a bill to cancel the 2012 presidential primary. The hearing is today.
