ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Freshman Tony Snell hit all five of New Mexico’s 3-pointers in scoring a career-high 19 points Wednesday night to key a 68-57 victory over Wyoming in the Cowboys’ first game under interim coach Fred Langley.

Amath M’Baye scored 19 points to equal a career high for Wyoming (8-16, 1-9), which lost its eighth straight conference game. Seven of those came under former coach Heath Schroyer, who was fired Monday.

Drew Gordon finished with a career-high 18 rebounds to go along with 16 points to help the Lobos (17-7, 5-4) overcome their worst shooting game of the season as they shot 37.7 percent (23 of 61).

Snell went 5-for-9 on 3-pointers, but the rest of the team was 0-for-11.
