Arkansas-Little Rock beats Middle Tennessee 62-58

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Solomon Bozeman scored 17 points and Arkansas-Little Rock got past Middle Tennessee 62-58 Saturday.

No other player scored in double figures for the Trojans (15-13, 7-6 Sun Belt), but their bench outscored the Blue Raiders’ 24-3. Three of those points came from Matt Mouzy with 1:37 to play, giving Arkansas-Little Rock a 60-57 advantage.

James Gallman then hit one of two free throws to make it a two-point game with 45 seconds remaining, but Middle Tennessee (14-14, 9-6) failed to score again.

Neither team led by more than eight points and there were 13 ties and 12 lead changes.

James Washington led the Blue Raiders with 17 points, JT Sulton had 15 and Jason Jones 14.

Mouzy finished with nine points.
