SEATTLE (AP) — Police say a man was stabbed in the neck and chest around noon Monday on a downtown Seattle street corner, at Third and Pine.

The 18-year-old victim has been taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with life threatening injuries.

Police spokeswoman Renee Witt told KIRO Radio it appears the stabbing followed an earlier dispute between two groups, possibly over drugs.

Witnesses saw the attacker take off in a car.
