CLINTON, S.C. (AP) — Walt Allen scored 18 points and all five Presbyterian starters reached double figures in a 73-66 win over Liberty on Saturday night in both teams’ regular-season finale.

Presbyterian used an 11-0 run in the second half to grab its biggest lead at 48-32 with 12:10 remaining. Liberty could get no closer than five points the rest of the way.

Jake Troyli added 16 points, Khalid Mutakabbir had 13, and Pierre Miller and Josh Johnson each scored 11 for the Blue Hose (13-18, 7-11 Big South Conference).

Despite finishing in the top eight in the 10-team conference, the Blue Hose are not eligible for the eight-team conference tournament due to their transition to Division I.

Liberty (19-12, 13-5), lost its fourth straight game. The No. 2-seeded Flames will face No. 7 High Point on Tuesday in the first round.

David Minaya led the Flames with 18 points.
