DETROIT (AP) — Calvin Johnson didn’t play in the first two quarters Sunday against Minnesota despite being on the active roster.

Johnson sat out the fourth quarter in last weekend’s win at Miami after he aggravated an ankle injury. The Pro Bowl wide receiver suited up against the Vikings but remained on the sideline in the first half.

Johnson caught 77 passes for 1,120 yards and 12 touchdowns in the first 15 games.
