Robert Morris defeats Ohio 79-76 in OT

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) — Karon Abraham scored a career-high 28 points to lead Robert Morris past Ohio 79-76 in overtime on Sunday.

The Colonials (5-8) trailed 66-64 with 28 seconds left to play in regulation, but a layup from Russell Johnson with 15 seconds to go and a missed 3-pointer from Nick Kellogg on Ohio’s ensuing possession forced overtime.

Robert Morris led 77-76 with 3 seconds left in overtime before Gary Wallace hit two free throws to extend the Colonials’ lead to 79-76.

Coron Williams had 14 points, Johnson and Wallace added 13 apiece for Robert Morris, which snapped a three-game losing streak.

The Bobcats (7-7) led 34-30 at halftime and by 12, 42-30, with 15:39 remaining in regulation, but Robert Morris scored 12 straight over the next 4:18 to tie the score at 42.

Tommy Freeman scored 15 points, Kellogg added 14, D.J. Cooper 13, DeVaughn Washington 11 and Ivo Baltic 10 for Ohio.
