KEIZER, Ore. (AP) — A 39-year-old Keizer, Ore., man has been arraigned on a charge of murder in the death of his wife. Peter John Zielinski was ordered held without bail at Thursday’s Marion County Circuit Court appearance.
Officers found the body of 38-year-old Lisa Zielinski at her home Wednesday after her husband drove to the police station and said she needed an ambulance.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office says an autopsy showed the woman died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
Police say the couple’s two young children are in the care of relatives.
