CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Laurent Rivard scored 13 points and Harvard overcame a double-digit deficit in the second half to beat Dartmouth 59-50 on Saturday.
The Crimson (13-3, 2-0 Ivy League) trailed 40-28 after Dartmouth’s R.J. Griffin made a 3-pointer with 15:36 remaining in the game. But Harvard answered with a 10-0 run, capped by Matt Brown’s 3-pointer to cut the lead to 40-38 with 10:01 left.
After David Rufful made a jumper for Dartmouth, the Crimson went on another run, scoring 13 straight points to take a 51-42 lead with 2:58 left. Brandyn Curry led the run with six points and Oliver McNally added five.
Curry, McNally and Keith Wright each scored 12 points for the Crimson, who won their sixth straight.
Griffin scored 20 points on 7 of 9 shooting for the Big Green (4-12, 0-2), who have lost five in a row and extended their road losing streak in conference play to 10.
