TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Twelve years after little Teekah Lewis disappeared on a family outing to a Tacoma bowling alley, police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a car that sped out of the parking lot that night.

Tacoma Police Detective Lindsey Wade told the News Tribune that the car and its driver may be involved in the girl’s disappearance.

She says the witness arriving at the bowling alley reported that a Pontiac Grand Am nearly hit her and fishtailed as it sped up away.

Teekah was just 2 12 when she disappeared on Jan. 23, 1999.
