UPDATE: The charges against Isaiah Mandley will be formally dismissed on Tuesday but he was released from jail today.

Today, Sunday July 3, 2011, 23-year-old Isaiah Eric Mandley Jr. was released from the Clark County (WA) Jail after charges of Murder and Attempted Murder were dismissed.
Portland Police Bureau Homicide Detectives received new information regarding the death of Leonard James “LJ” Irving and based on this new information, consulted with the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office before jointly deciding to release Mandley.
Mandley was arrested on Wednesday June 29, 2011, at approximately 10:15 p.m., in Vancouver, Washington.
This investigation started on Sunday June 26, 2011 at 12:37 a.m., when Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to reports of a man shot at Northeast 82nd Avenue and Thompson Street. Officers arrived in the area located 34-year-old Leonard James “LJ” Irving dead as a result of a gunshot wound. Officers located 21-year-old Lamar Lovette Hill suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. 21-year-old Jeray Lashawn Jessie walked into an area hospital sometime later with a gunshot wound to the forearm.
