GRANITE FALLS, Wash. (AP) — The Snohomish County medical examiner’s office says the deaths of a husband and wife whose bodies were found at a makeshift campsite in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest east of Granite Falls were suicides.

The medical examiner said Wednesday that both died of gunshot wounds to the head. The Daily Herald says two handguns were recovered. The two were found dead Tuesday.
