C. Oregon rancher struck, killed by bull

MADRAS, Ore. (AP) — A central Oregon rancher has died after he was struck by a large bull at a feedlot.

KTVZ-TV in Bend reports that 56-year-old Tom Green of Madras died at a Bend hospital after suffering severe head and chest injuries when he was struck Monday morning by the animal at the Green Cattle Feedlot off Highway 97.

Witnesses told Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies that Green was hit from behind by the bull.
