CARSON, Calif. (AP) — Luton Shelton, Ryan Johnson, Demar Phillips and Keammar Daley scored to give Jamaica a 4-0 victory over Grenada on Monday night in the Gold Cup.

The margin of victory was Jamaica’s largest in any Gold Cup game.

Jamaican goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts did not need to make a save for the shutout. Ricketts was Major League Soccer’s goalkeeper of the year last season with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Shelton scored in the 21st minute on a 6-yard shot off Rodolph Austin’s pass from the left side.

Johnson, who plays for the San Jose Earthquakes, scored in the 39th minute.

Phillips made it 3-0 in the 79th minute with an 8-yard shot. Daley converted a 23-yard line drive in the 84th minute.

Grenada has yet to score in losing all four of its Gold Cup games since 2009.
