BLUFFTON, Ohio (AP) — A man who survived a 2007 bus crash that killed five of his Ohio college baseball teammates and two others has lived through another wreck, involving a cycling team.

Allen Slabaugh (SLAY’-baw) was among eight people in a van that blew out a tire and flipped over this week in Idaho. They were headed to Seattle to start a 3,600-mile bike ride to Washington, D.C., to raise money for the Georgia-based Fuller Center for Housing.

The Fuller Center says no one was hurt seriously in Tuesday’s accident.

Slabaugh says in a news release that when the van started rolling over, it felt very similar to the crash in 2007 in which a bus carrying baseball players Bluffton University in northwest Ohio off an Atlanta highway overpass.
