WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Formula One driver Robert Kubica says he is working hard to make a comeback after suffering severe injuries in an accident in February.
Kubica’s manager, Daniele Morelli, read a message Wednesday from the driver, saying “I want to return to the circuit much more than before and I am working very hard to make a comeback to the wheel.”
A video broadcast by TVN24 on Wednesday showed him leaving a rehabilitation clinic, leaning on crutches, with his right arm stabilized by a brace.
Kubica crashed while competing in a rally in Italy on Feb. 6.
