Police: man fatally shot in Port Angeles WA

PORT ANGELES, Wash. (AP) — Port Angeles police say a man called 911 to say he’d just shot his neighbor.

Responding officers found a 63-year-old man dead Monday in a Port Angeles home.

Detective Sgt. Tyler Peninger tells KOMO the 911 caller said his neighbor was visiting when they got into an argument. The man says he fired in self-defense.

The dead man was not immediately identified.

Police are questioning the 58-year-old caller.
