NEW YORK (AP) — After resting her voice, Adele is ready to sing again.

The best-selling singer-songwriter from Great Britain was forced to cancel the rest of the dates on her North American tour earlier this month because of laryngitis. Now she has rescheduled those dates and added some shows in Las Vegas, Miami and other cities.

Columbia Records said in a statement Thursday that the concerts will begin in Vancouver on Aug. 9 with shows scheduled throughout the rest of the month. Performances will then resume Oct. 7 in Atlantic City, N.J.

The Grammy-winning singer has one of this year’s top albums with “21,” including the No.1 hit, “Rolling in the Deep.” The album has sold 2.3 million copies.
