NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — A possible gun charge against Seton Hall point guard Jordan Theodore is being reviewed by the Essex County prosecutor’s office.
Katherine Carter, the prosecutor’s office spokeswoman, said a municipal judge in South Orange-Maplewood found probable cause on Tuesday that Theodore had unlawful possession of a weapon on school property.
SNY.tv had reported that the Englewood resident was being investigated for an incident after the Pirates’ game against Villanova on Feb. 15. Carter said Wednesday that the prosecutor’s office will review the case and decide whether to charge Theodore with the third-degree offense, which is punishable by up five years in prison if convicted.
