SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Police say a carjacker robbed two drug stores in Spokane before he was stopped Wednesday night and arrested.
Police say the man attacked a driver walking to his car, took the keys and drove off to a drug store where he took prescription drugs. He hit another drug store a short time later.
An officer chased the car, forced it to spin out and arrested the 21-year-old. He was treated at a hospital for ingesting drugs before he was jailed for investigation of assault, robbery and theft charges.
