Vancouver police Sunday afternoon arrested three people accused of stealing a car and ramming two other vehicles.

Details are sketchy but the actions might be gang-related, said Sgt. Kathy McNicholas.

Police responded to a call at 12:21 p.m. og a disturbance at 520 N.E. 108th Ave. Witnesses said two young men and a young woman were in a car ramming two other vehicles.

The three left that area and dropped off the stolen car at the Motel 6 at 221 N.E. Chkalov Drive., McNicholas said.

They took off running but McNicholas said witnesses called 911 and officers were able to arrest them in that area.

The three were apprehended between 12:50 and 1:05 p.m.

Timothy M. Delisle, 18, was arrested for first-degree assault, second-degree assault and felony riot.

Elena M. Espinosa, 22, was arrested on first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree assault and felony riot.

A 17-year-old, whose name was not released, was picked up on an outstanding warrant. Charges might be brought against him.

The three also could face charges for stealing the vehicle and malicious mischief, McNicholas said.

Addresses for the three were not available Sunday evening.

Police expect to release more details today.
