Roland is a 1-year-old Labrador mix that came to the shelter when his family was no longer able to keep him. Roland already knows commands, walks well on a leash and is housetrained. He needs to meet any kids he would live with and needs a fenced yard. Roland can be very shy; he needs a dog-savvy owner to help him gain confidence. Roland is not on the general adoption floor, so if you’d like to meet him e-mail JRylander@southwesthumane.org or FSmith@southwesthumane.org to schedule an appointment.
Purrty is a 7-year-old white domestic shorthair that came to the shelter as a stray. Purrty is a polydactyl, so she has extra toes. We recommend she gets a slow introduction to her new household.
