SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona left-hander Zach Duke left Saturday night’s game against a Colorado Rockies split squad after getting hit on his left hand by a line drive off the bat of Charlie Blackmon in the second inning.

Duke trotted after the ball but did not attempt to make a throw. He was removed immediately after a cursory examination on the mound by the Diamondbacks trainer.

Duke has allowed seven runs over his previous three outings, a span of seven innings.

Right-hander Jarrod Parker replaced Duke.
