Camas — More than 200 seniors attended the Spaghetti Luncheon and Senior Resource Fair in Camas put on by S.A.L.T (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together). The luncheon is an annual tradition to show appreciation to the seniors of Clark County.

Virginia Jester of Camas was recognized by Sheriff Lucas for her many years of service and support of the S.A.L.T. program. Awards were also given to 2010 S.A.L.T. Advisory Board members Marion Swendsen, Mildred Piontek and Joanne Bond.

The highlight of the luncheon was Sheriff Garry Lucas’ spaghetti sauce, which he makes each year. At the resource fair, deputies collected 14 pounds of expired and unused medication and containers in the prescription drug take-back program.
