Oak Harbor couple worries about daughter in Japan

SEATTLE (AP) — An Oak Harbor couple is desperate to hear from their daughter who has been teaching English in a town near the hard-hit Japanese city of Sendai.

Rich and Julie Davies told KOMO News they haven’t heard from Bethany Davies since Friday’s earthquake.

The 25-year-old studied Asian cultures at Central Washington University.
