HOUSTON (AP) — Houston Rockets guard Terrence Williams is expected to miss a week after undergoing minor surgery on Tuesday to relieve lower abdominal distress.

The 6-foot-6 Williams sat out Monday’s win over Phoenix. He’s played in 11 games since the Rockets acquired him from New Jersey in a three-team deal in December.

Williams, in his second year out of Louisville, has played in 21 games overall this season, averaging five points and 2.4 rebounds.
