SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — People who drive along Interstate 90 through Spokane this year will have to pay attention to some major construction work.
The state Department of Transportation on March 28 will begin a project to widen the highway between Sullivan Road and Barker Road.
The $15 million project adds a third lane in each direction through this nearly 3-mile section.
Traffic will flow freely with two lanes in each direction during most of the construction. But lane width will be reduced and drivers will need to be alert.
