The project manager for a Bonneville Power Administration proposal to build a new high-voltage transmission line will participate in a public meeting Saturday at Amboy Middle School.

The meeting will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the gymnasium at the school, 22115 N.E. Chelatchie Road.

BPA project manager Mark Korsness will answer questions from area residents regarding access road construction and land acquisition.

The meeting is being hosted by A Better Way for BPA, a local advocacy group focused on landowner rights.

Internet mapping stations will be available, which could be especially valuable for residents who don’t regularly have access to Internet service.
