MALAGA, Spain (AP) — Rikard Karlberg of Sweden shot a 67 in the Andalucian Open on Friday to take a share of the second-round lead with Dutchman Maarten Lafeber and Dane Jeppe Huldahl.
Lafeber shot a 65 and Huldahl had a 66 to match Karlberg at 8-under 132.
Huldahl had five birdies in the final nine holes to make up for a pair of bogeys to match his first-round score, while the 36-year-old Lafeber eagled the 14th to move up 10 spots from his first-round placing when he shot 67.
Former British Open winner Paul Lawrie of Scotland is one stroke behind along with Japan’s Tetsuji Hiratsuka and England’s Jamie Elson.
