Rain, wind, mild temps in weekend forecast

Our northwest spring continues: Temperatures today and through the weekend will max out near 50 degrees, slight winds will blow and rain will trickle down off and on.

Today’s high is 52 degrees, which is actually higher than you should expect Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. There’s also a 60 percent chance of rain today and winds likely to blow between 8 and 11 miles per hour. There could be gusts tonight of up to 20 mph.

Here’s the rest of the weekend’s forecast:

Saturday: Showers. High near 49. Southeast wind between 7 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Saturday Night: Showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. South wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Sunday: Showers. High near 49. South southeast wind between 8 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Sunday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 42.
