Volunteers planted 27 trees and more than 100 shrubs at Warriors Field along Fourth Plain Boulevard, home of the Pop Warner Youth Football and Cheerleading Training Facility.

Last July, Warrior Field was the site of the first annual International Food Festival, where more than 2,000 neighbors sampled dozens of international food offerings from restaurants along Fourth Plain.

Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt said, “the planting of trees at Warrior Field represents another productive and positive step forward in this part of our city. I am proud that a partnership of neighbors, businesses and families has resulted in a stronger sense of ownership of this neighborhood open space.”
