WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) — A physician who allegedly fled the country with her two children during a divorce and child-custody dispute was charged Friday in Walla Walla County Superior Court with custodial interference.

The Union-Bulletin reports Dr. Kirsten B. Eberhardt, who was an OB/GYN at the Women’s Clinic, left Walla Walla in 2009 with her 12-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son in violation of a court-ordered parenting plan.
