Un Oh Bango wins at Hollywood Park

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Uh Oh Bango defeated Bogie by a half-length to win Thursday’s $55,730 feature at Hollywood Park and end a seven-race losing streak.

Ridden by Garrett Gomez, Uh Oh Bango ran 1 1-16 miles on the artificial Cushion Track in 1:43.88 and paid $8, $3.80 and $2.80. The victory was Gomez’s first at the track’s spring-summer meet since July 18, 2009.

Uh Oh Bango hadn’t won since Sept. 18, 2009, in Iowa. He has three victories in 11 career starts and earnings of $351,612.

Bogie returned $7 and $3.20, while Burj Dubai was another 314 lengths back in third and paid $2.60 to show.
