The Ridgefield school board will meet next Thursday night to discuss results from a recent symposium on the future of the district’s schools.

The meeting, an open house, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ridgefield Community Center, 210 N. Main Ave.

LSW Architects, a Vancouver-based firm specializing in school planning and construction, administered the symposium Wednesday. The event had 75 participants.

Among the topics discussed at that meeting, officials said, were possible partnerships and synergies within the community, obstacles that might arise, where the community would like to see the schools in the future, and ideas for what future school sites might look like.
