This Ones For Phil wins Monmouth Park feature

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — This Ones for Phil took the lead at the top of the stretch and held off Wildcat Brief to win by 1 1/4 lengths in the $75,000 Decathlon Stakes as Monmouth Park opened its meet on Saturday.

Ridden by Joe Bravo, one of his three winners on the day, and trained by Tony Dutrow, the 5-year-old gleding covered six furlongs on a fast track in 1:09.60 and paid $4.20, $3 and $2.40.

Wildcat Brief returned $2.60 and $2.20, while Awesome Son was 6 1/2 lengths back in third and paid $2.60.
