BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) — Bremerton police say a 28-year-old man who contacted live power lines while using a hedge-trimmer was severely injured. A coworker was less seriously burned.

Police tell the Kitsap Sun the man was in a bucket elevated above a truck Tuesday on Kitsap Lake Road. A 21-year-old coworker in the bucket with him pulled him off the line and yelled for help.

The older man was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His condition was not immediately known. Police say the 21-year-old was treated for burns at Harrison Medical Center.

Police, Puget Sound Energy and the state Department of Labor and Industries are investigating.
