PARKLAND, Wash. (AP) — Authorities say it’s lucky no one was hurt in a takeover-style robbery of a bank in Parkland.
Three masked gunman pushed customers out of the way, jumped over the counter and yelled at tellers about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Wells Fargo branch.
KOMO-TV reports the robbers grabbed cash and fled in a stolen car that was abandoned a few blocks away where they apparently took off in a second car.
Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer says the robbers are obviously violent and someone could have been injured.
