PARIS (AP) — Top-seeded American twins Mike and Bob Bryan lost to Juan Sebastian Cabal of Colombia and Eduardo Schwank of Argentina 7-6 (4), 6-3 Thursday in the semifinals of the French Open.
The Bryans were bidding for a second title at Roland Garros and an 11th Grand Slam overall. That would’ve tied the Open era record set by Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde.
In the final, Cabal and Schwank will face the second-seeded pairing of Daniel Nestor of Canada and Max Mirnyi of Belarus. They edged Michael Llodra of France and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia 7-6 (4), 7-6 (5).
