IOC President Rogge praises Blatter for FIFA probe

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — IOC President Jacques Rogge has praised Sepp Blatter for promising to reopen a case which could confirm allegations that FIFA and Olympic officials took kickbacks from marketing contracts.

Rogge tells The Associated Press that the IOC executive board will study a separate investigation on Dec. 7-8 into the ISL case by the Olympic body’s independent ethics commission.
