BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) — A Kitsap County couple fed up with speeders on their road between Seabeck and Bremerton have put up their own traffic sign.

It’s a 4-by-4 piece of plywood, lit up with Christmas tree lights, that reminds drivers of the 35 mph limit.

Jack and Kathy Stanfill told Kitsap Sun (http://bit.ly/w075em) they’re frustrated by what they see as the county’s slow response to requests for safety improvements.
