Letter: Home-schooling increase explained

The Columbian
Published: November 3, 2011, 5:00pm

Vancouver has been blessed with a great educational environment. But Evergreen Public Schools’ efforts in tolerance exemplify today’s challenges in teaching our children. Like free speech, is there a limit to tolerance? If so, who sets those limits? Are those limits set? As in set in stone, or only until the next election or legislative session?

The result of these concerns has been a rise in home schooling and private school enrollment. I know why, does anyone else?
