SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Andrew Luck woke up over the weekend with a big game hangover.

The once clear-cut Heisman Trophy favorite spent most of Sunday watching film of Stanford’s 53-30 loss to Oregon. The rest of the time Luck made sure teammates had moved on from the season’s marquee matchup.

Never has Big Game week felt so small.

With dreams of a national championship and Pac-12 title likely shattered, Luck and No. 8 Stanford (9-1, 7-1) must regroup quickly for the 114th edition of the Big Game against Bay Area rival California on Saturday night. The two schools have split the last two games.

The Golden Bears (6-4, 3-4) won at Stanford Stadium in 2009 and are looking to give coach Jeff Tedford a late-season boost after an otherwise average year.
