USS Ford returning to Everett home port

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — The Navy says the USS Ford will return to its home port in Everett Thursday after a six-month deployment in the western Pacific.

The 453-foot guided-missile frigate carries a crew of about 220.

The Navy says the Ford took part in training exercises. Crew stops included Japan, Russia, Singapore and India.
