BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) — Courtney Moses scored off an inbounds play with 13 seconds left to lift No. 16 Purdue to a 54-53 win over Bowling Green on Thursday night.
Moses inbounded the ball off a Bowling Green defender to herself and then made the uncontested layup. Bowling Green missed a 3-pointer at the end.
Bowling Green held a 18-16 lead at halftime and then went up 52-51 with 27 seconds left on a pair of free throws from Chrissy Steffen.
Brittany Rayburn had 18 points and six rebounds to pace the Boilermakers (2-0) while Moses finished with 13 points, six assists and three steals. Alex Guyton chipped in with 12 points for Purdue, all in the second half.
Alexis Rogers led Bowling Green (0-2) with 10 points and eight rebounds.
