I have been wondering if the people “occupying” around the country really feel they are making a difference? It seems to me it’s rather naive of them to believe that “occupying” a park or street is going to force or motivate a person of wealth, ill gotten or otherwise, to give up a portion, or any at all, to anyone.
Will the “occupying” make any changes, good or bad? Probably not.
Might be good for bragging rights. Sort of like “I was at Woodstock.”
Their mantra seems to be “I want my share. Oh, and I don’t want to have to work for it.” Most likely, given the chance, any one of them would jump at the chance to trade places with those they’re protesting against. Too bad they can’t put all that energy into something beneficial.
